Prolon is a certified ISO 9001:2015 established manufacturer with of Virgin PTFE (Teflon) and engineered plastics, CNC turned and compression molded, custom round components up to 6 inches in diameter.  In addition to Virgin PTFE, we offer a full range of filled PTFE materials (glass fiber, bronze, carbon, moly, etc.) as well as other engineered plastics that include Nylon, Acetal, PEEK, Polyethylene, and more.  We specialize in the manufacture of custom round components with outer dimensions up to 6 inches.  Our wheelhouse lies in high volume round items with outer dimensions between 9/16th to 3 inches.

Throughout the manufacturing process Prolon utilizes in-process controls and procedures to verify product each step of the way.  Statistical Process Control techniques are utilized.  We have systems in place to evaluate process capabilities. State-of-the-art equipment allows Prolon to meet the most sophisticated demands of its clients through-out the design, prototype, production and quality review phases.

Custom machined components produced from in-house molded and extrusion pre-forms.  Prolon has the capability to mold any standard PTFE compound.  PTFE combined with various fillers improves the physical properties above and beyond the limits of unfilled Virgin PTFE.  Materials are compounded to your individual requirements for each part we manufacture.  Current machining capabilities are focused in high volume typically round parts ranging from 9/16” to 6” in diameter.
