Full-Service Metal Fabrication Near Chicago

HFI is a full-service, ISO 9000 certified metal fabricator. Our West Chicago facility has 48,130 sq ft.  We are moving to 63,000 sq ft in March of 2024.  We also have plans to build another 50,000 onto that property in time. Our niche is in the restaurant equipment, medical equipment, and telecommunications markets.  

We specialize in stainless steel but have experience in cold-roll, aluminum, galvanized, aluminized, copper, brass, and other hot-rolled products. Our specialty includes 14 to 22 gage materials, but we have capabilities up to ¼ inch.  

Cutting:

• Fiber Laser with loan/unload
• Four high speed turret punch press
• One shear

Bending:

• Eight press brakes (four Trumpf and four Amada)
• One bending cell covering 20 by 20

Welding:

• Five robotic welding cells that are 6-axis
• Bench welding that has Mig and Tig capabilities
• 10 spot welding machines (3 of which are myspot machines) that cover aluminum, stainless and HR products.
